A Day in Misha’s World
Here’s a quick look into Misha’s (18 months old) day at Eager Beaver.
Morning
Misha walks in to warm hugs, cheerful greetings, and friendly faces that help her settle happily into the day.
Misha starts her day choosing from exciting activity stations — building with blocks, exploring sensory play, matching objects, or discovering letters and numbers through play.
The morning continues with music, movement, rhymes, and playful guided learning that keeps Misha active, curious, and engaged.
Outdoors, Misha runs, climbs, slides, and laughs with friends in the fresh air.
After handwashing and tidying up, Misha enjoys a freshly cooked nutritious snack.
Late Morning & Lunch
Misha is now engrossed in learning about different flowers through playful learning experiences, pounding flowers with a child-friendly mallet on a piece of cloth, taking in colours and smells.
After tidy-up, Misha transitions seamlessly into daycare and joins the hands-on games and fun group activities going on in the daycare.
At lunchtime, Misha tries to eat a few spoons of rice all by herself while the didi feeds her the rest. Teacher and other children give her special claps for trying to eat by herself.
She relaxes into story time, listening closely as new worlds come alive through books before naptime.
Afternoon
Nap time gives Misha a chance to rest, recharge, and prepare for another fun-filled afternoon.
Refreshed and ready again, she returns to games, sports, movement, and active afternoon fun.
Misha enjoys a healthy, tasty, freshly made evening snack.
Evening
It’s time for creativity as Misha explores colours, textures, and forms during art time.
It’s free play time and Misha and her friends put on the dinosaur masks they coloured yesterday to play dinosaurs.
The day gently slows down with breathing and focus exercises as Misha gets ready for home.
With a big smile, Misha runs into her parent’s arms, excited to share stories from another happy day at Eager Beaver.
